The John Marshall Tasting Experience
Wine Education Through Exploration of Extraordinary Wine and Food Parings
In 1801, John Marshall, a native of Fauquier County, Virginia, began his long career as Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court. The “Great Justice” cemented the position of the Supreme Court as a co-equal and independent governmental body, placing the rule of Constitutional Law above all else.
We draw inspiration from his story, and we are honored to be the owners of this home at Oak Hill Estate. In the 21st Century, we write a new chapter to the John Marshall story with the inception of Chief Justice Cellars and The John Marshall Tasting Experience, a boutique small-lot production winery at Oak Hill Estate.
